Social-Emotional Wellness

The preschool program provides comprehensive supports for social-emotional wellness, including counseling services, mindfulness practices and community-building activities to ensure every student feels valued and supported.

Ludlow Renovation

The Ludlow building in Shaker Heights will serve as a dedicated space for early learning, providing a nurturing and educational environment for the district's youngest students. Designed to support the developmental needs of preschool and early elementary children, it will play a crucial role in fostering a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

The Shaker Heights Preschool Program offers a comprehensive early learning curriculum for children ages 3-5, designed to prepare them for a successful transition to kindergarten. Currently housed at Onaway Elementary School, the program emphasizes foundational skills in a nurturing and engaging environment. In the fall of 2025, the program will expand and move to the renovated Ludlow school building, allowing for increased enrollment and enhanced facilities to better serve the community's youngest learners.
